Before installation

A properly prepared wall - is the key to high-quality wallpapering without visible seams! The surface of the wall must be free of old wallpaper, pieces of wallpaper, any kind of dirt, such as dust, grease, mold, paint stains. Under the putty, nothing should be visible - this will not allow you to install the photo wallpaper with high quality.

Remove nails/screws and patch any cracks. Disconnect the electrical network and remove all covers from sockets and switches. Sand any unevenness on the wall until it is completely smooth. Use a sponge and warm water to clean the wall of dust. Let the wall dry for at least 24 hours. The wall should be puttied so that it should be white and nothing can be visible through it. Otherwise, stains from the wall may be visible on the mural wallpaper.

Important: before installing, let the wallpaper lie down in the room where it will be installed for a day before wallpapering. To do this, you need to either unfold the wallpaper and put it on a clean floor (this is the best), or slightly relax the roll so that there is air between the sheets.

Wall surfaces

Emulsion paint: we strongly recommend not to install mural wallpapers on freshly painted walls earlier than 4 weeks after painting. See the instructions for your paint for details.

Porous surfaces (plaster, concrete walls): make sure that the old plaster is strong and free from mold, and the new one is completely dry. The wall must be sanded to be smooth. The wall should be puttied so it should be white. After that, the wall should dry completely.

Drywall: sand the entire wall, paying special attention to the recesses from the screws and the joints between the sheets of drywall.

Wall primer: prime the wall according to the type of wall you have.
