Differences between mural wallpaper and pattern wallpaper
Wall mural has a strict order of rolls, which cannot be changed.
Pattern wallpaper can be installed in any order. If the pattern repeats every 80 inches (100 cm) or more, then look at the panel header information.
Each panel will have a white header with the panel number, amount, and texture. This will be cut after the installation.
Check the wallpaper
Lay out the wallpaper on the floor and join the pattern. Be sure to check the wallpaper for damage. If you notice a discrepancy with your order (the pattern does not fit, the color of the wallpaper differs from each other or something else), be sure to contact us BEFORE you start installation - we will help resolve this situation.
Note! All mural wallpapers are checked by a specialist before shipping. The panels are numbered from left to right at the top.
Wall preparation
Prepare the adhesive according to the instructions and apply to the entire wall. Let the glue soak in and dry.
Note! We advise you to use glue that based on modified starch.
We are not responsible for the quality of the adhesive, as we are not a glue manufacturer.
Install wallpaper
On the wall, you need to draw a vertical line with a pencil on the right side of the first panel in order to install it strictly vertically.
Apply wallpaper paste
Evenly apply paste to the wall on the area where the first panel will be installed, slightly protruding beyond it (do not apply paste to the wallpaper).
First panel
Start installing the first panel strictly vertically relative to the drawn line. Wallpaper should be installed rolled into a roll, gradually unrolling and rolling them with a wallpaper roller or plastic wallpaper smoother tool.
Note! Wallpapers are printed with a margin of 1 inch in height, because walls, ceiling and floor may not be perfectly even.
IMPORTANT: wallpaper should be installed from top to bottom, without stretching, allowing them to unwind under their own weight. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the wallpaper.
Install other panels
Install folowing panels joint to joint, aligning the pattern, avoiding overlapping of the palens or a gap between them.
If the adhesive comes to the surface, Rinse it as quickly as possible with clean water using a sponge made of soft foam rubber.
If the wallpaper peels off at the joints (this may be due to high / low humidity, draft, improper wall preparation), you should use a joint adhesive based on the type of your wall.
IMPORTANT: try to apply paste in the area of the joints at once in sufficient quantity to instal the wallpaper the first time, in order to avoid damage to the wallpaper.
Repeat until finished
All joints should be smoothed out with a special narrow seam roller.
Cut excess wallpaper around the edges with a sharp stationery knife. A dull blade can cause the wallpaper to tear.
Check the joints, if necessary, gently roll with a narrow seam roller. If there are glue stains on the wallpaper, gently wipe with a sponge and clean water.
